Swimmers did the club proud

A NUMBER of junior swimmers from Thorne Tigers Swimming Club competed at the end of season contest in Shipley last weekend.
Despite very early starts on both Saturday and Sunday, all of the swimmers - Emilie, Emily, Casey, Jack, Jarvis, Harry, Phoebe, Alisdair, Owen, Charlotte, Charlotte and Lauren - pulled out the stops and did the club proud with a fantastic result of 32 medals, 3 speeding tickets and 42 personal bests from 75 swims of which 12 were 1st places.
A big thank you to Marcia and Sarah who were on poolside all weekend and to the parents who were there to give their support, a great time was had by all.
