A SERVICE that aims to help people settle back into their homes after a spell in hospital is urgently seeking volunteers.
Volunteers from the British Red Cross Home from Hospital Service help people to regain their confidence and independence, offering practical and emotional support for up to six weeks.

The charity is keen to recruit volunteers from any area of Doncaster, but the need is greatest at the moment in Thorne, Stainforth, Armthorpe, Edenthorpe and Barnby Dun.

Full training is given to prospective volunteers and travel expenses are covered. A commitment of a couple of hours a week is needed.

Anyone who is interested should contact Caroline or Kay at teh British Red Cross on (01709) 877688.
